Can rice bran oil be squeezed? It is possible, but it is conditional. First, the purity of the rice bran should be high. 1. Separation of chaff
The purpose of bran separation is to remove broken rice and impurities in the rice bran to ensure the oil yield. Generally, a small square sieve for bran separation is used for screening. If it is a small output rice bran oil press workshop, it is best to buy pure rice bran, so you don't need to buy a rice bran separator.
2. Mixed with rice husk
The rice bran is mixed with 4.5% to 5% of the shell, which can increase the hardness of the billet, and the steam can easily pass through when the billet is steamed, and the billet can eat evenly. After mixing the rice husk, stir evenly.
3. Add water
In order to get gas easily when steaming the billets, water should be added appropriately. When the water content of rice bran is 11%-12%, 20% water is generally added. Add water evenly to make the rice bran looser.
4. Steamed billets
The purpose of the steamed dough is to soften the crude fiber in the rice bran, protein aggregation, cell rupture, and fine oil droplets to gather into larger oil droplets, which is convenient for squeezing out the oil.
5. Fried billets
The function of frying billet is to reduce the moisture content of the billet so that the moisture and temperature of the billet meet the requirements of pressing.
6. Squeeze
When the billets are fed into the rice bran oil squeezing equipment, the temperature should be kept between 80°C and 90°C. When the machine is turned on for the first time, feed slowly, and then gradually increase the feed rate after the press chamber heats up. When squeezing, the slag between the sliver gaps should be mixed into the billet at any time for re-squeezing.

Crude rice bran oil is obtained by squeezing, and it will also enter the refining workshop for refining and dewaxing. The pressed cake still contains 6-7% residual oil. If the amount of raw material is small, this part of the oil can be ignored, but if the daily processing is more than 30 tons, the pressing method will lose a lot of oil.
